St. Paul’s Flying High
We were particularly pleased with our position in the Irish Independent League tables of Schools, which tracks the percentage of students that progress to 3rd Level. As part of our DEIS plan we have been monitoring and steadily improving these figures each year since 2010. Our class of 2014 have progressed to a wide variety of courses both at WIT and to Colleges nationwide. We wish them continued success with their studies.
On November 24th we welcomed students from 6th Class in the local Primary schools and their parents to our Open Night. Students got to visit and participate in classes in Science, Woodwork, Home Economics, Music, PE, French and many more subject areas. It was an informative and enjoyable evening for Parents and Students of the Class of 2015.
Pictured below are the PLC Classes of 2014-2015 in Secretarial/Business Studies, IT and Engineering. Their Tutors are Ms. Clodagh Wall, Mr. Philip Murphy and Mr. Barry Williams.
The courses are up and running very successfully, and all students are aiming to get FETAC Level 5 Certificate in May. All students are enjoying their work experience in many Companies in and around the Waterford City Area.
