The Community Education Programme of WWETB successfully applied for funding from Waterford Council for 6 cycling events for National Bike Week in June 2017.

Bike Week is a celebration of all that is good about cycling, promoting cycling as a form of recreation, transport and teambuilding. Forty five learners and staff participated in various events all on the Waterford Greenway.

The groups who participated are as follows:

• Portlaw Women’s Group
• Dungarvan Sub Office and Adult Education Office
• Lismore Women’s Group
• Kilmacthomas Women’s Group
