Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB) is delighted to announce that St. Paul’s Community College in Waterford City has been approved as a 1,000-pupil school following successful negotiations between WWETB and the Department of Education.
The matter has been considered at recent meetings of the school board of management. News of the Department’s agreement, to carry out preparatory work on the facilities required for the extension to commence immediately has been welcomed.
This is very exciting news for St. Paul’s Community College with the prospect of outstanding classroom facilities being added to the school. This building project will assist in managing the expected increase of students who will require second level places in Waterford City over the next few years.
