Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS)
VTOS courses are ideal for second chance adult learners over the age of 21 and not in employment. Mature students and early school leavers often pursue VTOS with the intention of trying a new career or area of study before committing to a third level degree. Equally, many VTOS learners acquire skills and knowledge that allows them to progress directly to employment in a range of areas.
Adult learners can develop study skills, learn how to write assignments and acquire Business Administration & Employability skills qualifications.
VTOS staff will be available on the day to advise about supports on offer in the Centre. Given the recovering economy in Ireland this year, local employers and those considering pathways to a national QQI qualification can talk to tutors and students about the various modules achieved and opportunities available after completing a VTOS program, all of which are delivered in Gorey.
Please contact vtos@wwetb.ie or Ph 053 9421791 for further details.
