Last Friday 6th March saw the Official Opening at Creagh College.
A beautiful and emotive ceremony that included greetings in four languages, music, spoken word, song and a flag ceremony to represent the multicultural nature of the College, its students and staff. The energy, drive and enthusiasm of the staff and students in the school was palpable. It was wonderful to see the students so involved in all aspects of the ceremony itself.
Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin officiated at the ceremony. Other speakers on the day were Jim Moore, Chairperson Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board, Michael Kinsella, Chairperson of the Board of Management Creagh College, Senator Michael D’Arcy, Paul Glynn Principal Creagh College and Eilis Leddy, Chief Executive, Acting Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board.
Best wishes to staff, students, and parents of Creagh College in the years ahead.
