As part of the celebrations for Adult Literacy Awareness Week, Adult Literacy Organisers; Joann Power and Emma Tobin Coles along with Maurice Sammon (student of Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board) attended a reception in Aras an Uachtaran and met with President Michael D. Higgins.

The event was organised by the National Adult Literacy Agency.
