Advice and guidance on skills, training and education required in order to gain employment in chosen field. Education and Training Boards (ETB) are statutory authorities which have responsibility for education and training, youth work and a range of other statutory functions. Education and Training Boards (ETB) manage and operate second-level schools, further education colleges, multi-faith community national schools and a range of adult and further education centres delivering education and training programmes.
Each of the Education and Training Boards (ETB) across Ireland have a local Further Education and Training Guidance and Information Service. This service is an integral part of the wider ETB Further Education and Training (FET) Learner Support Service which may include Learner Information and Guidance, Initial Assessments, Recruitment, Employer Skills Check Support Service.
